Many of these are made by talented modders who even vary the intensity of the tattoo's ink to make it more realistic. There are so many different tattoo mods out there that add a ton of different styles into the game. Unfortunately, they don't always look the best, as is the case with most Maxis content. The game itself allows tattoos to be placed in several locations on the Sims body, and there's a decent but somewhat limited range of tattoos to choose from. It pairs perfectly with mods that add fake eyelashes, but it's also nice if players are looking for a natural look with minimal lashes. It completely removes them and can be found within the skin details section. The simplified, cartoon-like style of the game can easily take away from immersion, and ruin the CAS experience. That being said, The Sims 4 does feel like a step back compared to The Sims 3 in many ways.
